many people have asked us ...

Who will be speaking?

The invited speakers appear on this page.

Why am I getting "Access Denied" messages?

You are either not allowed to view the page or you are trying to re-register to the conference while you already have a username and are currently logged in. If you are trying to access a page you should have permissions to, please see the next question.

I got a message that states I should update my talk page, but I get an "Access Denied" message

In order to view your talk proposal, please subscribe to the ECCS2008 - European Conference on Complex Systems posts here. Once you press the 'subscribe' link on the right column (the Membership column) of the ECCS2008 row, you will be granted your conference post edits

Why I do not get a confirmation email on my submitted talk?

We do not send confirmation emails. After you submit, you should see a notification inside a red box on the bottom left of the main conference page to which you are redirected once the submission is over.

Do I have to submit a full paper at any one time?

We will publish a brochure of the conference. Each participant can hold space in the brochure. Inside each slot will appear your name, picture, you own definition of complexity (an email was sent about that) and a possible link to your website, or a reference to your own major selected peer-reviewed paper.

How short is a short talk?

As a general rule, a short talk is of 20 minutes, a long talk is of 40 minutes
